CPD's - Continuous Professional Development talks

News: Biotecture highlighted by RIBA Journal for its CPD

The September 2010 issue of RIBA Journal ran an article with various architectural practices nominating their favourite CPDs. Biotecture was nominated by Charles Scott of Sheppard Robson, who said:

“Mark Laurence of Biotecture gave an excellent presentation on the science behind green walls, how they worked and are maintained. It was good to hear how greywater feeding systems can be incorporated into them and to get more detail on the payoffs that can be gained in terms of increased shading”

We have a program of CPD talks available for interested architects, companies and other relevant professionals. Living wall systems are new technology and need understanding, in order to facilitate their implementation into the building design process. We also present the future potentials of living walls and related systems, collectively called (by us) “building biomembranes”.

CPD's are led by Mark Laurence and to request one, please email Mark with some suggested dates to cpd@Biotecture.uk.com. Please note that we need the use of a digital projector or large monitor and, due to the number of CPDs we do, cannot cover the cost of lunch.
