The Conduit is a collaborative members’ club situated in an 8-floor, neo-classical building in Conduit Street, Mayfair.  It serves as a home for a community of people such as entrepreneurs, investors, creatives, business leaders etc, who are passionate about social impact & change.  The Conduit building consists of lounge, library, dining and beverage areas for members and caters for private events & entertaining.  This bespoke, internal living wall is situated on The Conduit’s 1st floor, large (3000sq ft) event space.
It consists of nine living wall panels fitted into four flexible work/event spaces, so that whether the room dividers are open or closed, every space has a living wall giving colour, movement and texture to the space.  The living wall’s design is organic and naturalistic, with varying tones of green with silver & white accents, placed to balance and unify the design.  The plants were chosen for low to medium height so as not to interfere with any nearby seating.  They are all evergreen and suit interior conditions of filtered light levels.

The plants in the living wall are looked after by our in house maintenance team. There is a bespoke maintenance regime set up for the site meaning that the plants will get the best possible care. To learn more about our Living wall maintenance you can visit our  aftercare page.

Biotecture are also looking after a further external living wall for The Conduit’s roof garden, to be installed later in 2019.

The Conduit is dedicated to creating workspaces that enhance productivity, inspiration and collaboration, which is why the plants on our green wall have been specifically selected for their high O2 output and air purifying ability to improve cognitive function.
